THE SWING SINGERS
LET’S SING SOME SWING!
Ladies Swing choir is great fun for musically interested dancers of lindyhop or people who simply get a kick out of singing in a choir. Some harmony singing experience is a plus but not a must, as we will sing jazz and swingstandards in 2-3 harmonies accompanied by piano, resulting in a small performance at the end of semester. Anna creates most of the choir arrangements and they are specifically tailor made for the choir. We focus on groove, timing, vocal sound and of course the joy of singing!
CANTEM SWING!
Cantar a la Coral de Swing femenina és molt divertit per als ballarins de Lindy Hop interessats en la musicalitat o per a persones que simplement els agrada cantar en una coral. Tenir certa experiència en el cant coral és desitjable, però no imprescindible. Cantarem Jazz estàndards en 2-3 veus acompanyades de piano. La classe es en català pero les cançons en inglés. Es farà una petita actuació al final del trimestre. L'objectiu és cantar amb els ritmes i harmonies del jazz, i passar-ho bé!
